Pressure
2026
Cardboard, acrylic, ash and paper pulp on board
61 × 91 × 3 cm

Pressure explores compression, strain and the gradual failure of surfaces under sustained force. Layers of cardboard are pushed, fractured and exposed, revealing an underlying structure that is both resilient and vulnerable. Creases, ruptures and abrasions become records of stress, while the contrast between darkened surfaces and exposed material suggests the tension between containment and release. The work considers how pressure accumulates over time, leaving traces that cannot be fully concealed.
